Nicholas J. Tammaro is a New York attorney committed to providing practical, results-oriented legal representation to individuals, families, businesses, and financial institutions throughout the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions. He believes that every client deserves honest advice, responsive communication, and legal solutions tailored to their unique circumstances.

 

Born and raised in Corning, New York, Nicholas is proud to have deep family roots in the community he now serves. His commitment to public service began with the Army National Guard, where he proudly served, including a deployment overseas. The leadership, discipline, and integrity developed during his military service continue to shape his approach to the practice of law.

 

Nicholas earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Maine School of Law, where he focused on commercial and transactional law, and also completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA). This combination of legal and business education provides him with a practical perspective when advising clients on both personal and business matters.

 

After being admitted to the New York State Bar in 2025, Nicholas joined the Chemung County Attorney’s Office as an Assistant County Attorney, where his practice focuses primarily on child support and related family law matters. Although family law was not his original area of study, he has developed a strong appreciation for the opportunity to help children and families navigate challenging legal issues with professionalism and compassion.

 

Nicholas was selected as a Fellow of the New York State Bar Association Family Law Section, a distinction that reflects his commitment to professional development and excellence in the practice of family law. He remains dedicated to expanding his knowledge while providing clients with thoughtful, effective legal representation.

 

Outside the office, Nicholas enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children and remains deeply invested in the community he has always called home. Whether representing a family, advising a business owner, or helping a client plan for the future, he strives to provide the same level of care, preparation, and personal attention that he would expect for his own family.
